Measurement Principle

The PTU-600 turbidity sensor is based on infrared scattering technology, that is, the infrared light emitted by the light source will scatter when it passes through the measured sample during transmission, and its scattered light intensity is directly proportional to the turbidity. The PTU-600 turbidity sensor is equipped with a scattered light receiver in the 90° direction, and the turbidity value is obtained by analyzing the intensity of this set of scattered light.
